Modelbee is a marketplace that introduces people who need something physically made (“clients”) to workshops and fabricators who make it (“makers”). Modelbee is not a manufacturer. We do not make, inspect, ship or warrant any part. Every job is a contract between the client and the maker; Modelbee is not a party to it.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use Modelbee, and you are responsible for everything done under your account. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly at support@vlodkodesign.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You may only upload material you have the right to share. Do not post anything unlawful, or anything whose export or manufacture is restricted where you or the maker are located — weapons and controlled components in particular. You keep ownership of everything you upload.
A bid is an offer from a maker. Accepting a bid forms an agreement between you and that maker on the price, scope and lead time you agreed. Modelbee does not currently process payments; you settle directly with each other. Modelbee is not responsible for non-delivery, defects, delay, or any dispute arising from that agreement.
CAD and other files you attach to a project are private. Makers browsing your project can see the brief and reference images; the 3D files unlock only for a maker whose bid you accept. Makers agree to use files they receive solely to quote and produce that job, and not to copy, resell or pass them on. This is enforced technically as well as contractually, but you should still avoid uploading anything you cannot afford to have seen.
Do not scrape the platform, probe its security, misrepresent your capabilities, post fake reviews, or attempt to take an introduction made here off-platform in order to avoid platform fees once such fees exist. We may suspend accounts that do.
Modelbee is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss of data, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the previous twelve months or one hundred US dollars.
We may change these terms; if a change is material we will say so on this page and update the date above. You may stop using Modelbee at any time, and we may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
